Lohja Main Library, Finland

A library's colors come from its books – this is the case at least for the new main library in Lohja, Finland, where the interior design is stylishly neutral but warm. Smooth, perforated, and curved Puucomp Premium ash veneered boards together with perforated laminate-faced interior panels were used for the interior surfaces of the library which opened in 2006. The building's most dominant element is red brick which compliments the wood perfectly.
